First Giveaway!

Wednesday, February 10, 2010
I am very excited to announce my first (and second) giveaways to celebrate Valentine's Day! All you need to do is leave a comment in this post by Sunday, February 14 at 10pm. I will randomly pick two winners (one for each item) and announce them on Monday morning. Say anything you want and/or leave a link to your blog. Easy!

The first item is a handmade Amy Butler Birdie Sling. I used fabric from both her Midwest Modern line as well as the Daisy Chain line. I really like this bag - it reminds me of spring time and farmer's markets. Two things I am looking forward to so very much...

The second item is the Red Velvet quilt pattern from Thimble Blossoms. Lots more patterns from Thimble Blossoms available in the store!

Hi Alexandra,
My name is Bradie, sometimes known as Mrs.ManQuilter ;) I wanted to stop by and tell you how lovely your little family is, and I think you have one of the prettiest blogs / website I have ever seen. Congratulations on hosting your first giveaway, I'll be sure to spread the word. Just go ahead and choose my name for that fabulous purse though, maybe I can hook you up with a good deal on some quilting :D

Is the bag your own design, and can we order the pattern? Brady told me about your first give-away, and I really enjoyed your nesting simply concept and visiting your blog.

Thank you all for your wonderful comments! Such a joy to read them! I appreciate you all stopping by!

I made the sling using an Amy Butler pattern (one of my favourites) which can be ordered from my online store, nestingsimply.com. I sell a range of sewing patterns from independent designers.
